According to Associated Press, Hollywood celebrity Brad Pitt is helping New Orleans to rebuild the city after Hurricane Katrina. Brad Pitt and the environmental organization Global Green USA are sponsoring the Sustainable Design Competition for New Orleans, a contest to find an Earth-friendly plan for housing and community centers in neighborhoods ravaged by Katrina.
Brad Pitt has designed some of his residences and he also designed jewelry for Damiani, the company which made the wedding ring he gave Jennifer Aniston, the ring was to be exclusive. Meanwhile, the celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently in Namibia waiting for the birth of their first baby.

It is so nice to see the well deserved positive press about Brad Pitt. I believe this is the real Brad Pitt that has only been enhanced by his relationship with Angelina Jolie. If you consider his family background; a solid family that has a humanitarian bent and his more recent connection to Bono, Brad has been headed in this direction all of his life.
He and Angelina Jolie can only get stronger and I believe will be lifelong partners because they have their priorities straight and have strong values. Their capacity for giving is a beautiful thing and should be admired.
I have been so frustrated with the martyr role that Jennifer Aniston has taken and how that has hurt Brad Pitt. She may not have done it consciously, but some of the snide comments she has made about Brad and her unwillingness to correct the record and tell the truth about why she and Brad really broke up is dishonest. She has just let people believe things that weren’t true, whereas Brad P. did press releases to correct anything that was mistated about her. Through her self centeredness Jennifer A. has created a divide between celebrities, Oprah, fans and the public in general. She has caused people to feel sorry for her and take sides and this has resulted in an ugly mess that has made Brad and Angelina outcasts. I think it made her feel better to get all of the attention, to be the victim. I do, thank God, think she has begun to learn from her behavior and will hopefully begin to make some positive changes. She is not a bad person, just an insecure person. However, insecure people can cause a lot of damage.
I am impressed with Brad and Angelina’s self control and ability to take the high ground by not commenting. Brad has only said good things of Jennifer and has encouraged the public to leave her alone.
I remember hearing about a possible break-up between Anniston and Pitt at least a year before they broke up, which was way before Angelina. I think Brad and Angelina are a much better match and I think Jennifer is a better match with Vince Vaughn.
Good luck to them all, but I wish the public record could be set straight and the damage to Brad and Angelina undone.
