The Hollywood celebrities: George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will team again for Ocean’s 13, Warner Bros. announced Monday. The movie will be directed and co-produced with Clooney by Steven Soderbergh and will be set in LA and Las Vegas, featuring Clooney, Pitt, Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, and Ellen Barkin.
The production is scheduled to start in July, for a summer 2007 release and unfortunately in Ocean’s 13 we will not see Julia Roberts who appear in the first two movies, and Ocean’s 12 costar Catherine Zeta-Jones.
It was a script issue. We didn’t have a place to really use talent like theirs, two big stars like that. They’re very good friends of ours, and neither Soderbergh nor I would prevail on them to come back and do nothing just to do it.
