Britney Spears libel case have been delayed so that the celebrity’s lawyers can present evidence in her $20 million libel action against Us Weekly, after the American magazine filed a motion to have the case dismissed. The next hearing is scheduled to take place on 3 May in Los Angeles.
The pop celebrity sued Us Weekly in December last year thanks to an article which claimed that Britney Spears had a sex tape made with husband Kevin Federline and it would leak onto the Internet.
Pop star Britney Spears has sued a Us Weekly magazine, accusing it of fabricating a story that she and her husband Kevin Federline made a sex video. However the Us Weekly story claim that Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline had made a sex video and were afraid it would become public, determined the celebrity couple to take court action seeking damages for libel.
