It is said that Angelina Jolie wants to give birth in France – as a tribute to her actress dying mother, Marcheline Betrand, who has terminal cancer. Angelina Jolie’s mother was born in France and wants her daughter – who is expecting Brad Pitt’s baby – to maintain a “circle of life” by delivering her child there. Marcheline has uterine cancer and has been staying at Los Angeles’ Raffles L’Ermitage Hotel, in Beverly Hills and unfortunately according to the sources, Marcheline does not have long to live.

Angelina is torn between wanting to be close to her gravely-ill mum in America and respecting her wishes by having the baby in France. She adores her mother and wants more than anything for her to be around to see her firstborn. She and Brad have been staying in France as much as they can and Angelina will have to decide soon, before she is too far gone to travel.
