British pop singer George Michael was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs in London’s West End on Saturday morning, according to the BBC. The pop singer was taken into custody by police for drug use after they responded to a citizen’s call for assistance. George Michael was arrested after a call from a member of the public, after the pop singer was seen in his vehicle apparently unconscious.
The pop celebrity was not taken to the hospital emergency room, but to the police station house. George Michael was initially arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive but that charge was dropped after he was examined by a doctor.
