The R&B celebrity Beyonce Knowles reportedly receives many hate mails for selling animal fur in her fashion range. The letters came thanks to Beyonce’s label Dereon which started selling clothes made of rabbit and chinchilla fur – and teddy bears made of mink.
Furious animal rights campaigners are not pleased with Beyonce’s fashion range and have even threatened to leave carcasses outside the star’s home, according to a report in Britain’s News of The World newspaper.
This is not the first time Beyonce is facing animal rights groups, as the R&B celebrity was among a host of celebrities blasted by PETA for wearing Canadian Mukluk boots, which are made of rabbit fur.
On other celebrity news, ‘The Pink Panther’ starring Beyonce Knowles as a pop star and Steve Martin as Inspector Clouseau, topped the box office last weekend on sales of $21.7 million. Beyonce also holds the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with “Check On It,” the first single from ‘The Pink Panther’ soundtrack.

i like beyonce she’s ok, but i wish she wouldn’t use fur in her clothing collection, that’s so mean, i know some people who are thinking about leaving animal poop all around her house and on her door step.
I can’t beleive beyonce is using fur in her clothes range. WHY WHY has she got to do this???? Many celebrities wear fake fur which looks great, and no innocent animal has died a horrific death for it. Have they ever looked at the video of these poor animals being skinned alive, surely if they look at this video they would realise how wrong this is. Animals should not be treated in this way. Have they any heart, obviously not. she is a cold hearted piece of scum. She should be STOPPED like every other person who thinks it ok to cause suffering and pain to animals just for the sake of fashion.
Beyonce do your thing girl! And to Lucy if what she is doing wrong she will have to deal with herself who are you to judge- it does not make it any better by you calling someone names. Grow up!

I wish everyone would understand how unexplicably cruel the fur industry is. Animals are gassed, electrocuted, beaten and skinned alive. To 111 and all those ignorant and heartless people: just because you eat meat its not ok to use fur. Animals being used for fur are not used for consumption. They are merely used for fashion, tortured mercilessly. Don’t you think they need their fur more than we do?? Come’on people would you wear your dog or your cat?? Much of the fur that comes into the United States is unlabled because there are no labeling laws presently in effect. Which means that fur pelts that are labeled as “rabbit”, “mink”, and “fox” are intentionally mislabeled and in reality coming from regular companion animals like neigborhood cats and dogs. Beyonce seems pretty heartless. And her clothing is just tacky and ghetto overall, whether it has fur or not. Nothing classy and functional like Ralph Lauren who does not promote fur. Scientific studies show that people who lack compassion actually aren’t the smartest. Maybe the chemicals from all the hair processing and highlighting have killed off some brain cells, otherwise its a mystery. Oh well.
I really think Beyonce is a nice girl, but now that I know she’s selling fur. I’m pretty disappointed. That’s my choice and I’ll stay disappointed with her until she changes. If she doesn’t, I just won’t support her music or anything she does.
Can you imagine your cat or dog being skinned alive just for the use of it’s fur? Yup, there are places that skin cats and dogs alive so that they can sell their fur… check out the videos if you don’t believe this statment!
If humans were meant to wear fur, we would have fur! We are not incapable of making clothes. We have a mind for a reason. We have built in guilt for a reason.
And no, I don’t eat meat! It’s not necessary either!
Beyonce can make clothes with fur on, as it is our choice whether we buy it or not. If you dont want real fur, people should go else where. However, there are faux furs that look exactly like the real thing that she could maybe use. No matter what she chooses to do, i will still continue to buy her cds and songs.

Whoever says you eat meat why not wear fur, do you wanna no why it is wrong. You need to eat dont you but there is no need to kill animals to wear real fur when there are better and less harmfull ways of looking good. Its called FAKE fur.
