Celebrities Robbie Williams, Shakira and Madonna won honors at one of France’s biggest music awards shows on Saturday night. The show, organized by the NRJ radio station, grants awards for French and international stars.
Robbie Williams was voted best male international performer performing his hit “Tripping “, while Madonna took the best female international artist award but didn’t appear to accept it after she received a career award from Britney Spears in 2004 and thanked French fans for two decades of support.
Shakira was the attraction of the evening as she shouted “I love France!” in accepting the award for best international song, “La Tortura” and after performing on stage.
