Among people who doubt about R&B singer Alicia Keys acting skills was also actor Ryan Reynolds. However, according to Hello magazine, Reynolds has admitted that Alicia Keys has totally surprised him with her performance in their upcoming movie ‘Smokin’ Aces’. Reynolds revealed that he had been amazed that Alicia Keys had never acted before because of her complete natural acting skills.
In her first major movie role, R&B sensation Alicia Keys portrays an assassin in ‘Smokin` Aces,’ an action drama.
I’m surprised she hasn’t done a movie before because she’s so natural. She’s going to blow everybody away.
Going in you’re thinking ‘Oh god, this is going to be tough. Am I going to have to slow down so they can keep up’. But that wasn’t the case at all.
