Pop star singer Hilary Duff, 18 and rocker Joel Madden, 26, are not thinking about marriage and also consider that their eight-year age difference is no big deal because just their families opinions counts, according to Teen People reports.
Rocker Madden tells the magazine that if he had a daughter who wanted to date a guy with such a big age difference, “I wouldn’t let it happen.” As for their relationship now, Madden says he’s totally committed to Duff because he always wanted stability as he came from a broken home. When asked about whether they plan a walk down the aisle, the couple says don’t expect wedding bells anytime soon.

Hilary Duff was the ‘Pop Princess’ only a few years ago, and she goes and dates Joel? Joel is the last person on Earth that a preppy girl like Hil would date. Alot of skanks/preps/snobs at my school love Hilary, and they’re always talking about it at lunch “Joel is way too old to like date Hilary.” “If I were one of Hilary’s friends, I would tell her how wrong that is!” “I’ll bet he just wants sex from her, and he’s older so he thinks he can dominate her.” My opinion is that Hilary became a poser punk as soon as she started dating him to impress him, he didn’t buy it obviously.
