Mariah Carey wins 6 and Kanye West 3 Groovevolt Music and Fashion Awards

The R&B celebrity Mariah Carey dominated the third annual Groovevolt Music and Fashion Awards, taking home all six awards in six categories in which she was nominated, while Kanye West – who posed on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine dressed like Jesus – took home three Hip-Hop awards.

Mariah Carey received awards for Album of the Year ( The Emancipation of Mimi ), Song of the Year ( We Belong Together ), Best Female Pop Album and Best Female Pop Song Performance, leaving other celebrities behind. Other celebrities – award winners were included the Black Eyed Peas, Toni Braxton, Destiny’s Child, John Legend, and Gwen Stefani.
