Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J Blige warns animal activists to leave her and her coat alone, arguing that it’s her right to wear fur if she wants. Hip-hop and R&B icon Mary J Blige is a fan of coats made from animal skin and refuses to give it away because of People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA).
Those PETA people don’t want to mess with me, they don’t want to throw paint on my coat because it’s not just going to be throwing paint. It’s going to be Mary in the news the next day, you know what I mean?
What gives them the right to destroy someone’s coat because their opinion is that you shouldn’t wear animals? Understand what I’m saying?

Agreed. SHe is so ignorant. I recently saw here state in a newspaper, “My god wants me to look good and wear bling” What a shame that such an ignorant bitch from the street could have taken animals lives away. FOr these reasons I cannot listen to her music even though she is somewhat talented.
I really liked her till I found this out. Im starting to become disgusted by alot of people I idolized 10 years ago. I hope Chaka Khans not like that. I have yet to see any pictures of her wearing fur so maybe Ill get lucky. She says its her right. We are all animals on this earth. Humans are more powerful….sort of like a bully in a school is. Its not our right “in the school of earth” to bully those who are weaker then us. Its not our right to not only bully, but skin animals alive on this earth that can feel the same pain we do. That is real hell on earth. If that doesn’t get you into hell, I dont know what does.

I agree with all of u. especally slammyjo, i can not belive sheis wearing so much fur. In the last video “just fine” it’s like she had the animal strected out, and made in to a coat. And Mary if u read these i must u are very sick person. And the fact that u know what happeneds to these animals, yet you still wear fur is even more disturbing. I used to be a big fan of yours, but now i can’t bear to look at you.
