Avril Lavigne has finally gave away her adolescent punk style in favour of grown-up glamour. Apparently the singer feels more like a lady and was happy to pose in Gucci and Channel for next month’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine. The magazine calls Avril’s new look, “Twiggy for the 2000s.” The still “young” Avril Lavigne told the fashion glossy that she feels more feminine now that she is getting into hair and makeup and image.
Meanwhile, Lavigne has signed up to make her acting debut in a screen adaptation of Eric Schlosser’s bestselling expose ‘FastFood Nation’, next to celebrities like Patricia Arquette, Ethan Hawke, and Lindsay Lohan’s ex, Wilmer Valderrama, among others.
