Sad news! Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards are getting divorced as Denise rep tells People: “Denise is moving forward with divorce proceedings.” According to the recent news, lawyers for both Sheen and Richards asked that the case be removed from Los Angeles County Superior Court to retired commissioner Jill Robbins.
The celebrity couple split last spring but the birth of their daughter Lola on June 1, seemed to be patching things up. The actress Denise Richards, who cited irreconcilable differences in her March divorce petition, was also seen wearing a new diamond on her left ring finger last summer. Apparently the 4.3-carat engagement ring was actually “a recent gift from Charlie Sheen,” a source close to the celebrity couple said, “showing her how much he wants things to work out.”
