Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s baby was born Thursday night in Los Angeles, their reps confirm to PEOPLE.
Affleck’s publicist and Garner’s spokeswoman, said the girl was born at 6:26 p.m. ET Thursday, after several news outlets erroneously reported Garner had already given birth nearly five hours earlier. Affleck and Garner have kept much of their relationship private, because of his very public romance with Jennifer Lopez. Instead of hitting hotspots together, the couple have been most often seen grocery shopping, at a drink or renting a movie.
