The actress Jennifer Aniston sends her thanks to pop singer Jessica Simpson for taking all media attention away from her split with Brad Pitt. Aniston’s private life has been in the media attention after she divorced from Brad Pitt.

Although the Hollywood stars Brad and Jennifer tried to keep it as quiet as possible and despite the fact Jennifer Aniston confirmed during an interview for an American show that she and Brad Pitt remained friends, at some point Jen had to begged paparazzi to leave her alone. The actress got tired of being hunted by the media and she was fed up with paparazzi following her around, when she’s with her friends and family.

In present Jessica Simpson and her now-estranged husband Nick Lachely, who also have been in tabloid stories over the year, are taking their place in the spotlight with their separation announced on 23 November.

The paparazzi invade my life because there are so many new celebrity magazines out there. They’re desperate to fill their pages. I’m just grateful to poor Jessica Simpson for taking some of the heat off me. However, I am grateful to the legitimate press. Given what’s been going on in my life, they’ve been really great. They could have been a lot meaner.
