Janet Jackson tops the list of most searched term in Google News for 2005 thanks to the rumors about a secret daughter and a new album.
Google’s search lists come less than a week after Yahoo! published its own where the pop singer Britney Spears toped the list, earning status as the No. 1-most-searched name on the Internet.
Janet Jackson beat Hurricane Katrina, the Boxing Day tsunami and her brother’s child molestation trial to the top spot.
