Eva Longoria and Tony Parker

Tony Parker and Eva Longoria were pulled over in San Antonio on Christmas Eve for impeding traffic. Sgt. Joe Myers of the San Antonio Police Department said an officer had determined that the car was impeding traffic and the driver did not show a U.S. driver’s license.

The officer’s report also said that the two celebrities had been verbally abusive, including a comment from Longoria, about the officer being a Mexican. The officer who wrote the citations said Parker complained: “This is all the cops do, just mess with people,” and that Longoria shouted from the car: “He’s just a Mexican bike cop. He only wants your autograph.”

It’s a shame that one officer conducted himself in such an inappropriate and disorderly manner.

Eva Longoria publicist said on Monday that “the police report is highly inaccurate, defamatory, false and fraudulent,” saying also that Longoria had never made any racial slurs, as she is Mexican herself.
