The Irish celebrity Colin Farrell has entered a rehab facility, his publicist Danica Smith said in a written statement Monday, the Associated Press reports. The treatment center hasn’t been identified and no other details hasn’t been revealed, however the statement ask that the press respect the privacy of Mr. Farrell and his family.
Colin Farrell is being treated for exhaustion and dependency on prescription medication, which was prescribed after a back injury.
Sadly, because of treatment centre for his drug addiction, Irish actor Colin Farrell has pulled out of the world premiere of his film The New World, which opens in the US on Christmas Day.
Farrell was scheduled to take a break from filming Miami Vice this week to promote The New World and attend the premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday. Production company New Line have confirmed Farrell will miss the promotional activities and screening.
No other comments are to be made at this time.
