Ashlee Simpson has been hospitalized after the singer collapsed following the performance in Tokyo for MTV Japan on Thursday, her representative confirmed the report to The Associated Press. The singer Ashlee Simpson, was performing her single, “Boyfriend”, when unfortunately she told the audience she felt sick and said to them, “I love you guys,” Us Weekly reported Friday. According to the news, Simpson then collapsed in an elevator and was brought by ambulance to a hospital.

With no further details of Simpson’s condition, her upcoming appearance at the Radio Music Awards on Monday has been canceled.

Meanwhile, Ashlee Simpson’s sister pop celebrity Jessica Simpson is also going to rough times starting the divorce battle with her husband Nick Lachey, in Los Angeles, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to American news magazine In Touch.
