Because of Justin Timberlake’s record label Pharrell Williams refused to help him with his new album. Williams worked on Timberlake’s debut album Justified, and has written numerous hit songs for other stars including Britney Spears and Snoop Dogg.

Justin’s my boy. We got a lot of history together, we got Grammys off his album. We’ll always be cool but his record label upset me so I’m not going to be on his next project. I told him not to worry. He could win more Grammys with his own solo work.
