Leonardo DiCaprio appeared recently at Oprah’s show and warned Americans about the dangers of global warming. The actor sent his message with all conviction saying that America, which boasts five per cent of the world’s population, produces 25 per cent of the globe’s carbon emissions and the last year’s hurricanes and tsunamis are just a terrifying forewarning of what is to come.
Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio has bought an island off the Belize coast, where he plans to open an eco-hotel. The famos actor became passionate about saving the environment while filming The Beach in Thailand.
