Kylie Minogue sent a message of support for the cancer sufferers , through her sister Dannii, at the Pink Ice Ball for Cancer Research UK, in London at the Dorchester Hotel, apologizing for not being there in person.
Kylie, who had been invited to speak at the charity ball, couldn’t attend the event because the doctors advised her not to go.
I am sorry I cannot be with you this evening. Much as I would have loved to share this occasion with you all, my doctors have advised against it at this stage of my treatment.
I am currently a cancer patient. I aim to be a cancer survivor. This is only possible with the incredible work done by so many within the field: doctors, specialists, scientists and volunteers.
I have been on a crash course of learning in the last few months and now have first hand experience of how vital awareness, funding and support is.”I send my solidarity to those whose lives have been affected by breast cancer and my thanks to those who are helping in each and every way.
