Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will be soon husband and wife in the movie ‘El Cantante’, directed by Leon Icasho, which shooting is set to begin next month in New York City and Puerto Rico. The movie tells the story of one of the biggest Spanish-language singers of the 1970′s, Hector Lavoe, who was harmed by personal tragedy and heroin addiction and died from AIDS-related complications. Lopez will play Puchi, the wife of Hector Lavoe, according to Production Weekly.
Jennifer Lopez, who is currently shooting the film “Bordertown” with Antonio Banderas, also works on Tick Tock and WWII musical, based drama American Darlings, with Nicole Kidman.
