After two years of not performing Jay-Z is back to the studio planning a rap comeback.
According to the sources, Jay-Z isn’t satisfied with his behind-the-scenes role as the president of Def Jam Records and he’s heading to record a new album.
He’s looking to get an album out by the beginning of summer, says a source close to the performer. It’s on his radar.
He’s been talking with (Island Def Jam chairman) Antonio ‘La’ Reid about it. The guest spots made him miss recording. He looks around and knows there aren’t a lot of people, except maybe Kanye, who can touch him.
