Lemar tops Music of Black Origin awards

R&B singer Lemar topped this year’s Music of Black Origin (MOBO) awards, receiving two prizes, for the Best Album ( “Time To Grow” ) and Act of the Year at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Other winners included 50 Cent, at the hip-hop category, Sway who won the Best Hip Hop Act, Bob Marley’s son Damian, who was named the Best Reggae Act and John Legend who won the Best R&B gong.
