It seems Jennifer Lopez is in Puerto Rico to record a reggaeton song with U.S. producer-rapper Pharrell Williams, according to El Vocero and El Nuevo Dia newspapers. Lopez and Williams are the latest U.S. artists to cross over into reggaeton, a mix of Jamaican dancehall, hip-hop and Latin beats.
Williams forms half of the Grammy-winning production duo The Neptunes, and also is a member of the hip-hop group N.E.R.D. Jennifer’s fourth studio album “Rebirth” incorporates the hip-hop/dance and other music including ’80s pop-rock.
