Green Day was the big winner of the night at MTV Video Awards, capturing seven of the eight awards they were nominated for – including video of the year, best rock video and the viewer’s choice award.
Even though the host Diddy wasn’t nominated for any awards and didn’t rap on stage, the hip-hop dominated Sunday’s MTV Video Awards as host of the festivities. Among winners were Kanye West, “Jesus Walks” as Best Male Video, Kelly Clarkson, “Since U Been Gone” as Best Female Video, Alicia Keys, “Karma” as Best R&B Video – read the rest of the winners list.
