
Ashley Judd says yoga is helping with her depression.
The actress was diagnosed bipolar a long time ago and claims her interest in yoga and all that comes with it was more helpful to her than pills she was prescribed.
I haven’t been depressed in a while, but it’s something I know how to look for in my life. Yoga has made a big difference there. I try to remember that true happiness is not dependant on circumstances and conditions.
That said, there might be a time in my life when medication is appropriate for me again. There are periods when your brain chemistry is off-kilter enough that it doesn’t matter what you do until you get that synaptic s**t worked out.
