King Norodom Sihamoni has awarded Cambodian citizenship to Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie in an apparent recognition of her conservation work in the poverty stricken country.
Angelina, who adopted her Cambodian son Maddox three years ago, is giving a Cambodian community development organization $1.5 million for its environmental protection efforts in remote parts of the country’s northwest.
