Pop star Ashlee Simpson has forgiven Avril Lavigne for nasty comments the Canadian made about her singing ability, because she has since apologised. Simpson reveals she confronted the pop punk at a party and asked her about comments.

I won’t say anything bad about anyone, even if they talk about me.
I hung out with Avril once and I said to her, ‘Hey, I heard that you said some things,’ and she was like, ‘Sorry,’ and that was cool. I’m not in high school and I don’t need drama.
