
After this fall North American tour chart-topping R&B trio Destiny’s Child will split, the group member Kelly Rowland made the announcement on stage in Barcelona (June 11) before 16,000 fans at the Palau Sant Jordi, explaining that the concert would be the last European appearance by the group. The trio’s Destiny Fulfilled… and Loving It tour will hit North America beginning July 2 in New Orleans and wrap Sept. 10 in Vancouver.
Destiny Fulfilled album debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 late last year – the hit single Lose My Breath and has sold more than 2.7 million copies in the United States.
